I offer both electronics fault repairs and modifications, including pickup swaps, rewires and control upgrades. Whether your guitar has crackling controls, a weak or intermittent signal, or you want to change how it sounds and functions, the aim is to provide clean, reliable wiring and controls that work as intended.

• Cleaning noisy pots and switches where appropriate

• Re-soldering loose or broken connections

• Replacing faulty output jacks, pots and switches

• Pickup replacement or swapping

• Partial or complete rewires

Why prices vary

The final price depends on whether the work is a simple repair, component replacement, pickup installation or full rewire. Cost also varies according to the number of components, the complexity of the wiring and how easy the electronics are to access.

 

What is not included

Pickups, replacement components and specialist parts are charged separately. Routing, major woodwork, structural repairs and refinishing are not included unless agreed as separate work.
