About me
I've always had a passion for playing guitar ever since my arms were long enough to strum a chord on my Dad's Dreadnaught acoustic.

This passion for playing evolved into a passion for repairing and modding. I spent my teenage years fixing vintage 60's & 70's guitars; Vox's, Teisco's, Ibanez's etc. I would buy and sell these guitars for a small profit which made for some pocket money to spend on better tools and equipment.

Eventually with the experience I had gained, combined with a frustration over the set up most guitar players seemed to have settled for, I decided to start setting up and repairing guitars.

I'm proud to say my work is constantly improving, and having worked with many experienced Luthiers over the last few years I've been able to absorb invaluable knowledge and experience that is evident in my work.

Services do not include the cost of Parts or Strings.
Full Set Up £65-£75
Ideal for a guitar that needs some TLC, the full set up includes a basic set up plus: Nut shaped, electronics cleaned, hardware checked and tightened
Basic Set Up £40-£50
Want your new guitar to play at 100%? The basic set up includes a restring, fret polish and adjustment of the; Nut, Neck, Action, Intonation, Pickups.
Restring £15-£25
Cleaning of fingerboard, neck adjustment and restring of all strings. A range of Ernie Ball strings are available to choose from.
Fret Level Crown & Polish £115-£130
Uneven Frets? Fret wear? A Level Crown and Polish can be a great alternative to a full refret, this service also inludes a Full Set Up and will resolve sharp fret ends and poorly dressed/polished frets.
Refret From £180
Whether you have worn out frets or looking to upgrade to different fretwire I offer refrets which will be polished to a mirror shine and dressed comfortably by hand.
Electronics Work From £20
From loose jacks to pickup rewires I offer an extensive range of electronics services:

Fabrication of replacement Nuts & Saddles for Electric and Acoustic guitars, the cost of bone is included in the price but any material can be requested. This service requires a Set Up.
